Create Mutation Dialog

This dialog lets you insert special region (e.g. mutations) which belong to certain strains of an organism. The wizard guides you through the process of the region creation.

Step 1

Select the type and subtype your region belongs to. These regions can be a insertion, deletion or a substitution (insertion/deletion). For types like insertion and substitution the subtypes can consist of a interposon, transposon or a plasmid.

Step 2

Next you enter the name and the position of the new region. NOTE: The start and stop positions are relative to the currently selected region. Also the parent region will be the currently selected region.

Step 4

Do the same for the mutant background

Step 5

Here you can select the library and the microtiter plate (MTP) for the mutant. Basically you should not touch the values because they are autogenerated and look for the next free weld of the MTP. If choose to manually enter the Row/Column then be sure you know what you are doing. Otherwise it may confuse some people working with this stuff.
