ColorizeMS User documentation

  • Start the application via Java 6 Web Start or download and run the .jar locally.
  • Select your png files representing experimental results and map them to the three color channels in ColorizeMS

  • Navigate and zoom the visualization by dragging with the right mouse button and using the scroll wheel. The buttons at the right top part allow to adjust the position of the three different texture layers to compensate drifts and disturbances of the measurements.

  • To compensate differences between the amount of sample measured, the intensity of individual channels can be modified. It is also possible to completely

remove the influence of individual layers by dragging the intensity to zero.

  • ColorizeMS thereby allows to rapidly identify common as well as unique features of the experimental dataset.

  • A left click in the main visualization of ColorizeMS will compute and present the distribution of the individual color channels at the selected spot.
