Tutorial Introduction

Synopsis

This tutorial is intended for a learning by doing audience. While proceeding step by step you will do the following:

  • Log in to the EMMA-Demo project
  • Create a new experiment
  • Create your experimental design
  • Import data from the ArrayLIMS
  • Normalize your data
  • Plot your data
  • Run a statistical test for up- and down-regulated genes
  • View the results

Prerequisites: The turial requires

  • a completely installed EMMA and ArrayLIMS
  • a ready-to-use demo project (eg. 'EMMA-Demo') where you can log in
  • an ArrayLIMS project containing demo data to import
  • some basic skills on using your web-browser

Reading through Terms and Concepts will help but is not required to complete the tutorial.
