RNA description

This page is for submitting the data of your RNA production. Fill out every field marked with a red star ( required fields ). If you just want to enter the data of one RNA do not fill any of the fields of RNA2.

Requiered fields

Fields that have to be filled for at least one RNA

  • Date, date of the RNA preparation
  • Operator, the person who performed the purification (is already filled)
  • Organism, the organism from which the RNA is extracted (default is "None". Make sure you selected the wright organism)
  • Tissue and strain
  • Growth conditions
  • Volume, the volume used in ul
  • Concentration, the concentration in ug/ul
  • RNA ID, label ID of the RNA
  • Preparation protocol, select an existing protocol (default is "None") or upload a new one
  • Protocol description, only required if a new protocol is uploaded
It's also possible to upload images of the RNA on a separation gel. If you do so you have to fill
  • µl (RNA1 loaded), how much of the RNA was loaded to the gel
  • gel type, what kind of gel was used

Optional fields

You can also add some additional data for your RNA production

  • o.D.260/o.D.280
  • o.D.260/o.D.230
  • Remarks, some remarks of your RNA production
  • Alterations for the preparation protocol
  • Images of the RNA on a separation gel
