This is the primary source of documenatation for the the MGE Bioinformatics Platform at Bielefeld University and the MGE Portal site.

The portal is run by the "Bioinformatics Resource Facility (BRF)".

The GenDB system is an open source genome annotation system developed by the "Bioinformatics Resource Facility (BRF)" of the "Center for Biotechnology (CeBiTec)" at "Bielefeld University".
