Import slide

Only chiefs of a project are able to use this function.

On this page you are able to import one or more slides into your project.

Import only one slide

To import one slide insert the name of the slide into the Prefix field, choose type of the slide (micro or macroarray), add some remarks and press import.

Import more slides

ArrayLIMS allows the import of slides with the same prefix and numbered suffix as well as slides with the same prefix and numbered infix and suffix.

Slides with numbered suffix

If you want to insert slides named e.g. "test_01" to "test_05" insert "test_" into the prefix-field and "01" to "05" into the infix field. If you click on the import button ArrayLIMS will show you the slides it will create. If these slide names are correct press import otherwise cancel and correct the entries.

Slides with numbered infix and suffix

If you want to insert slide names e.g. "slide_test01_01" to "slide_test01_05" and to "slide_test03_05" insert "slide_test" into the prefix field. Into the infix field fill in "01_" to "03_" and into the suffix field "01" to "05". If you click on the import button ArrayLIMS will show you the slides it will create. If these slide names are correct press import otherwise cancel and correct the entries.
